According to Florida foreclosure law, and the Florida foreclosure process, the lender goes to court in what is known as a judicial foreclosure proceeding. This is where the court must issue a final judgment of foreclosure. Depending on the Florida Lender or mortage holder, it takes approximately 180-200 days to effectuate an uncontested foreclosure.
